The only way to protest

I purchased Stuhrling watch from Amazon.ca in July 3rd 2011 (Sunday) and I picked it up on Wednesday. I was so happy, but when I open the box the watch was not working. So, I thought that the problem was the battery. Before to think about it I try to find a manual, but in the box there is no manual, then I looked it over and I found some videos on Internet. The video titled "Calibrating Ronda Startech Movements - a Stuhrling Instructional Video" (youtube) was supposed to resolve my problem.

I was happy again. I followed the instruction, but again the watch was not working. I tried to contact the costumer services to resolve my problem. I suggested to change the battery and after send the bill to Stuhrling, but the person said to send it back do Amazon.ca and change for new one. I was trying to make the things easier because the price of the battery is cheapest than transportation.

Today (2011-07-08) I went to UPS and I paid 34,47 CAD$ to send it back to Amazon.ca !!! :@ I spent more money for one thing that was not my fault !!

Finally one good news. I just received an e-mail from Amazon.ca (2011-07-12) and they're gonna refund me all the money that I spent (with Tax Refund), but I am still think that Stuhrling should have paid the transportation.
